Serious Pedestrian Accident In Waltham

Around 2:45PM on Thursday Afternoon as Children were leaving Kennedy Middle School for the day a call came in for a child struck by a motor vehicle at 770 Lexington Street. C-2, Engine 7, AMR Ambulance 2 & AMR Medic 1 responded to the scene. Engine 7 on arrival reported they had a 13 Year old child struck by a motor vehicle. Engine 7 asked for a push on AMR as the victim had a serious head injury and was unconscious. C-2 requested for Medflight shortly after. Engine 8 responded to 901 Trapelo Road Falzone Field for the Medflight Landing Zone. The victim was transported to the LZ and then transported by Medflight to a Boston Hospital. The childs condition is unknown at this time. The Waltham Police Department continues its investigation into the accident.

5:00PM U/D: (According to WCVB-5) The Child is 15-Years Old and is a student of the nearby School. The child was transported by Medflight to Tufts Medical Center with serious injuries.
