Double Stabbing in Waltham Apartment Building

Around 10:30AM on Wednesday August 29th Waltham Police, C-2, Engine 1 & Medic 1 responded to 89 Adams Street Apartment #13 for a reported stabbing. This is a well known building for me as I live nearby. C-2 was returning from a call and was nearby so they arrived on scene with the first due police cruiser.

More police cruisers responded to the scene as Engine 1 arrived. Firefighters and police officers found a victim with a stab wound to the leg and a 2nd victim with a stab wound to the arm. Ambulance 1 was added for the second stabbing victim.

As Medic 1 arrived on scene police began looking for the suspect who fled the scene in a car heading up Cherry Street towards Moody Street. One victim was transported by ALS to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center with a stab wound to the leg and the other transported BLS to Newton-Wellesley with a stab wound to the arm. Both have non-life threatening injuries. The Waltham Police Department is investigating the incident and currently are searching for a person of interest.
