Motor Vehicle Accident in Waltham Sends 4 To Hospital

At 11:00AM on Friday August, 3rd 2012 Waltham Squad 5 reported to Fire Alarm that they had a Motor Vehicle Accident with unknown injuries at the intersection of Moody Street & High Street. Firefighters and Deputy Macinnis grabbed gear and ran across the street as the accident happened 100 Feet from the Moody Street Fire Station.

At the Same time Waltham Police & AMR Ambulance 2 was dispatched. The Deputy Chief on arrival requested an additional BLS unit and Ambulance 1 was dispatched. Firefighters quickly back boarded and collared the passenger of a vehicle and transported him/her to an ambulance. A additional unit was requested for multiple patient refusals and to transport another victim and AMR Medic 2 was dispatched. In total Four adults were transported to Newton-Wellesley Hospital with Minor injuries.
