At Noon with temperatures already in the low 90's Boston Fire struck Box 354 for a reported building fire at 939 Morton Street. Ladder 29 called off with heavy fire showing on arrival from the rear decks of a 3-Story Wood Frame OMD. Engine 16 quickly stretched a line getting water on the fire containing it to the 2nd & 3rd Floor rear pocrhes. The fire caused an estimated $30,000 in damage and is under investigation by the FIU.
